Fans React To Netflix Removing Futurama
The popular adult cartoon series “Futurama” has been mostly removed from Netflix, and it’s fair to say fans are quite upset at the move.
The show, which debuted in 1999 and ran for 7 seasons, has become somewhat of a cult classic, but Netflix has now removed the first the first 5 seasons. Fans have been reacting all across the internet via popular Futurama memes, including the famous “I don’t want to live on this planet anymore” quote from Professor Farnsworth.

Fans are also using clips from the Futurama: Bender’s Game DVD in which he parodied famous anti-piracy messages, saying that FOX and Netflix have left fans with no choice but to pirate the show.
Fans have also been posting a popular image from the opening credits of season two, episode five.
While the show may not have been as commercially successful as shows like Family Guy and The Simpsons, it’s clear the cult following around it is quite devoted.

Who knows, maybe this social media campaign will get the show back online for old and new fans alike to view it. Or, you know, maybe not.
