If you’ve used a computer at all in the last 20 years, chances are you are familiar with Adobe’s Flash software. Now, Adobe is planning to pull the plug on the software and will no longer be using or distributing it by the year 2020.
“For 20 years, Flash has helped shape the way that you play games, watch videos and run applications on the web.,” said Anthony Laforge, a product manager for Google Chrome. “But over the last few years, Flash has become less common.”
Microsoft has also announced that they will be phasing Flash out of their operating system, specifically Microsoft Edge. Mozilla will also be ending support for Flash by 2019 as well.
